One of the largest Sports broadcasters in Europe, Sky Italia is part of the sky group of companies and offer some of the most comprehensive English Premier League football coverage within the European Union.

Sky Sports Italia has 5 dedicated Sports channels as well as an extra 14 CALCIO Sports channels - meaning football in Italian, Sky Italia shows as many as three Saturday 3pm EPL games simultaneously every match day as well as covering some Mid Week games and every match broadcast on British Satellite TV. That's 280 LIVE games.

Besides the full Italian Serie A, they also broadcast top Scottish, Spanish and German League matches as well as every UEFA Champion's League match. The package is not just football orientated it offers a substantial coverage of other sports types and events such as Rugby Union, including the 6 Nations Rugby, Tennis and all the American sports, Formula One and much more. For most sporting events the commentary is in the original language where the event is being sourced, for Spanish football as example there would be a Spanish Audio and Italian Audio, sadly recently on the EPL football matches it would appear that the English Audio has been cut due to alleged copyright infrigements, this matter is being followed and as the situation changes we will try to keep our site up to date with the latest information. English audio is present on some but not all of the live UEFA matches, if the English audio is of prime importance we would suggest that Sky Deutschland or Canal Digital Plus makes a good alternative.

Also included with Sky Italia Sports package are the National Italian channels like Sport Italia and RAI these have some covering of English Championship, South American Football and Italy Internationals.

All packages on this page include standard delivery and the Sky Italia HD Box, the Sky HD box is an excellent full featured receiver it is well specified with an intuitive menu, the picture is shown for illustration as like many proprietry broadcasters boxes they do make changes from time to time without much notice.

Sky Italia broadcasts using NDS Videoguard, a standalone CAM Module is not available at this time, Sky Italia releases its own dedicated satellite receivers, other sky digiboxes such as those from the UK or Germany are not suitable.
