Three
colocated
satellites at the orbital position of 13 degrees east make up the
satellite we know as hotbird. Each individual satellite has it's own
characteristics the hotbird group of satellites are high power broadcast satellites.
Easily
receivable
throughout Europe parts of
middle
east, parts of Asia and parts of North
Africa, if you live within the reception area, want the 3pm
sports and other channels from the European TV providers Sky Italia or
Nova (Greece), - you can get a card from us. These are official
footprints, some signals may extend beyond the fringes.
We sell the

Sky Italia (h6,8,9) and Aljazeera Sports (h9)
 
The Sky
Italia package
with calcio sports requires a dedicated Sky Italia receiver which we supply.
The
Aljazeera sports
package requires a card reader receiver supporting either Irdeto,
viaccess or CI
receiver and Viaccess or Irdeto Cam, we currently stock the Irdeto
versions of the cards, with viaccess versions available on
demand.
The
Hotbird footprints are extensive as can be seen below, extending into
the far North and even East, contract workers in Iraq, and Kuwait,
Dubai, or Abu Dhabi, looking for easy to receive English channels on a
relatively small dish are well advised to consider Sky Italia,
which has a substantial amount of English content (without subtitles),
although this can no longer be said about the live 3pm football on a
Saturday (see Sky Italia pages for more detail).
